Research

Work has begun on many documents available to the Foundation related to General
Samuel P. Heintzelman's military service.

Holly Sigman, a member of HMPF, is researching the Cornet and Germania Bands of
Manheim.  The two organizations played an important part in Manheim's early musical
history.  The Cornet Band no longer exists, but the Germania Band, while no longer
active as a band organization, lends great financial support in the community of
Manheim.  Holly's research will also be published by HMPF.
